ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) is a leading distance training provider in the child care industry and is Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. Since its inception, CCEI has worked with the Head Start community to provide quality staff training.

Course categories include Health and Safety, Nutrition and Food Service, Child Development, Classroom Management, Guidance and Discipline, and many others. Each one hour course is granted .1 CEU. CCEI’s offering of online certificate programs includes several options that meet the 120 hour training requirement of the Council for Professional Recognition’s Child Development Associate (CDA), a Director’s Certificate, and many state specific certificate programs. Programs are designed to meet the varying needs of students. While programs are self-paced, CCEI programs also provide access to an Education Coach and Technical Help Desk to deliver assistance, encouragement and feedback throughout the program.
